The Kapsul W5 unit has the performance of a traditional 5,000 BTU window air conditioner. At only 7″ tall, Kapsul brings a new, more attractive look to the window units, and it’s twice as quiet as traditional window units. The W5 has on-board temperature, humidity, ambient light, and kilowatt sensors. The app lets you monitor all these conditions and control the W5’s performance from anywhere you have internet access. Plus, the Kapsul W5 is compatible with Nest, Google Assistant, and Alexa, so you can control the W5 with your voice, too.

The unit weighs 40 pounds. I am 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. It is impossible for me to lift 40 pounds at any height a few inches let alone a couple of feet to the window sill or higher. Also one can get a traditional AC unit now is available as smart option and remote at of about $129 at Walmart and also quiet
The only smart air conditioners I see at Walmart are some Frigidaire ones that start at about $330. Those units have a stated weight of 70+ pounds. But granted, you can go buy them now and not wait until the spring of 2019.

Well this would be good for a quick fix for those of us that live in the South to cool just one room instead of your whole house….
