The unit weighs 40 pounds. I am 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. It is impossible for me to lift 40 pounds at any height a few inches let alone a couple of feet to the window sill or higher. Also one can get a traditional AC unit now is available as smart option and remote at of about $129 at Walmart and also quiet
The only smart air conditioners I see at Walmart are some Frigidaire ones that start at about $330. Those units have a stated weight of 70+ pounds. But granted, you can go buy them now and not wait until the spring of 2019.
