LEGO introduces the most adorable robot ever

It’s WALL•E! I just love this little guy. He goes about his business working industriously, diligently, and faithfully alone but with such a purity of heart and a cheerful attitude – and he’s cute to boot! The design for this LEGO WALL•E was formulated by Angus McClane, a LEGO Ideas member and a director/animator at Pixar Animation Studios, who collaborated with LEGO designer Steen Sig Andersen to bring us this wonderful kit. According to the LEGO Ideas’ blog post, he “incorporates many authentic WALL•E characteristics, including a posable neck, adjustable head, arms that move up and down and side to side, plus gripping hands and rolling tracks.” He also has a trunk that opens and closes. He measures 7″ high and 6″ wide and will be available for sale September 1 according the LEGO facebook page. Toys-R-Us currently shows the WALL•E kit ($59.99) as Out of Stock, but there is a link available for you to enter your email address so that they can notify you when it is available. How can you not smile when looking at him, even on your worst days? If I ever get a robot assistant, I want it to look and act just like him. 🙂
