If youβd like to have a convertible sit-to-stand desk for your home but donβt have a lot of room to dedicate to a work station, Levengerβs Sit-to-Stand Rolling Workstation should be considered. Β Like many of the laptop work desks Iβve seen at Levenger, this desk has a generous desktop (28β³ wide X 18.75β³ deep) that can support 25 pounds. Β It has casters so you can roll it away for storage when you arenβt using it. Β It also has a smoothΒ pneumatic lift to easily adjust the work surface from a 27β³ standard desk height to a 40β³ standing desk height.
The Sit-to-Stand Rolling Workstation is available with a black, white, cherry, espresso, or walnut desktop andΒ a powder-coated metallic base or with a red, orange, blue, or green desktop withΒ a white base. Β The Sit-to-Stand Rolling Workstation is $299 at Levenger. Β Allow 2-6 weeks for delivery of this item.

Darn – that’s *almost* what I need at home! But I need something that goes lower than 27″ for when I use my manual typewriter, in order to get proper keyboard strikes π
This desk has a great look, but doesn’t let you stand properly. Look how much the guy’s neck is bent trying to look down at the screen. Proper posture is looking straight ahead at your monitor. Check out the ergonomic standing desk I invented that’s nearly half the cost. http://www.TheReadydesk.com
Based off your review, I decided to purchase one of these for work. I put it together earlier today (took about 10 minutes). Overall I think it will be very useful- primarily bought it for when working in server room, data closets, digital signage, etc. I wish it were a tad more sturdy, but I think it should work for most situations without any issue.
I hope it works well for you.
FYI, this was just a news item, not a review. I haven’t had any hands-on experience with this desk like all Gadgeteer reviews require. This was just an item I found while surfing that I thought readers might be interested in.
