Although epill also makes medication alarm watches in unisex and in children’s models, this Cadex Platinum watch is designed for women. The watch has a silver case and a stretchy band with silver-colored beads for a dressier look. You can set up to 12 alarms to remind you to take medication, perform medical tests, or other activities during the day. The alarms will continue to remind you for up to four hours until you indicate that you have performed the function. The messages have a text field to remind you of what’s due, and the alarms automatically repeat each day. There’s also a medical information database that allows you to save personal information, emergency contact information, medical condition, allergies, medications list, doctor’s contact information, and insurance information that can be accessed in emergency situations. (All information is entered directly into the watch, so a computer isn’t necessary for setup.) And of course, the Cadex Platinum functions as a normal watch, too. It’s available in small, medium, and large wrist sizes. The suggested retail price is $150, but epill is selling the watches for $110.
