The Brooks Saddles Challenge Tool Bag was first designed and patented in 1896, and it’s been keeping bicyclists’ tools handy since then.  These gorgeous leather bags attach to the saddle of your bike with leather straps; the buckles of the straps are located inside the bag for greater security.  The strap that buckles the Tool Bag closed also wraps around the tools inside, to hold them securely and prevent them from rattling while you ride.  The bags are made of vegetable-tanned leather by Brooks England, but Amazon makes them available in the US.  They measure 6.9″ X 3.1″ X 1.8″ and weigh 4.5 ounces.  Amazon has the Brooks Saddles Challenge Tool Bag in a variety of colors – from aged tan to black to red to apple green and more.  Prices vary from about $71 to $90, depending on color. Most colors are eligible for Amazon Prime shipping.
