I’m on a mid-century modern furnishings kick right now. We got new living room furniture this summer, and I went with reproductions of a design from the 1950s. I’m trying to make the rest of the room fit in, and my giant HDTV looks really out of place in there now. If only this TV from SEIKI was available in a 65″, it would fit perfectly in my new retro decor. The SE22FR01 LED TV has a styling that reminds me a bit of those gorgeous old Predicta televisions. Inside is thoroughly modern, with full 1080p HD resolution on a 21.5″ diagonal LED panel; 60Hz panel refresh rate; HDMI, component/composite, and VGA ports; a built-in subwoofer; and a remote control. The Retro Red version will be available at national retailers first, but the TV will also be available in other mid-century colors, like yellow, purple, blue, and pink. The MSRP is $329.

Sorry, but it doesn’t look retro at all.
Looks a lot like a Mattell child’s toy.
I love it! ((:
This looks like a TV from the Jetsons! Really cute, but not practical!
@Okuleah It seems expensive for a 22″ TV, but what makes it impractical?
This isn’t the only Seki TV.The Seiki SE50UY04 has 4 times the pixels as a 1080p TV.You can buy it at http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7674736&CatId=8893.
But if $1,049 is too much CNET’s Crave is giving away one for free
