Read a bedtime story to your child, even when you can’t be there

When you have a child, you know how important it is to read to her.  Reading time fosters a love of reading and encourages his imagination, and the time together is important for maintaining a close bond with the child.  Sometimes you just can’t be there for story time – you’re at work or away on a business trip or deployment; other family members, like grandparents, love to read with the child, but they are too far away for daily story time.  With the Sparkup Reader, a child can enjoy story time with Mom, Dad, Grandma, or Grandpa, even when they are separated.  You simply read a book while the Sparkup records it, and your child can listen to you read it anytime.  The Sparkup fits over the back of the book, so the child can follow along as you read.  If you’d prefer, you can select from professional narrations, complete with music and sound effects, from the Sparkup online store beginning this fall.  The Sparkup Reader is made by a company in Israel, and QVC will be the exclusive retailer in the US.  The Sparkup Reader will be available on QVC for $49.95, beginning July 20th.
