Earlier this year, I reviewed Col. Littleton’s No. 1943 Navigator Briefcase, which I continue to use daily to carry around my gear. There is not a week that goes by that I do not receive at least one compliment about how nice/gorgeous my bag is. That being said, the Colonel has recently announced a sibling to the 1943 Navigator Briefcase, their new No. 1942 Attaché. From an internal design, quality of materials and craftsmanship, the No. 1942 Attaché is nearly identical to the Navigator. The only substantial difference is its more subdued and classic business look/design of its exterior. According to the website the “Colonel designed this bag with its clean lines for those who prefer a more traditional briefcase. It is another version of a World War II attaché with many details taken from an official Army-issue World War II Navigator’s Bag in the Colonel’s private collection.” This satchel is available from the Colonel Littleton website for $680.
