Bracketron recently introduced a customizable version of their iRoom iDock for iPad. The iRoom iDock is installed into your wall, and it is equipped with an Ethernet cable and a powered dock to charge your iPad while it’s in the mount. You have full use of the iPad’s functions while it’s in the dock. It’s available in horizontal and vertical orientations, and the powered mount makes it easier to “install” your iPad into the wall for home or business use. Normally, it’s available in black or white, but now you can ordered custom versions that display artwork or even company logos. The iRoom iDock is available for purchase through Bracketron with pricing starting at $1,088. Pricing for the custom design upgrade starts at an additional $50.

You lost me at $1088.
That makes an ipad look cheap.
Ha, invent anything for the iPhone and you can charge as much as you want. Like everything else, waaay over-priced.
Why $1088, wouldn’t it be easier to sell at $1099.99 ?
This sets a new standard in overpriced solutions looking for a problem. I can’t figure out why anyone would buy something like this for $100, let alone ten plus times that much. Thank goodness you can get custom finish upgrades for only slightly more than the whole idea is worth in the first place.
I think I’ll order one with a custom image of a giant Black Hole sucking in all of my hard-earned cash. And there *is* a base model at $688 that doesn’t have the motorized feature, but who really wants their friends to know they cheaped out?
