  2. Fruit Ninja HD. It’s name is pretty descriptive, you ninja fruit. The fruit pops up from the bottom of the screen and you slice it with a slashing motion. You have to avoid the bombs because they blow up. There’s a couple different modes of play. It’s just a simple fun game that’s great to blow a couple minutes on.

  3. I am addicted to We Rule. I know everyone is tired of the farm/city-type games, but this one has regular updates with new animated buildings and little quests to complete. I also like the ka-ching ka-ching when I collect the gold my kingdom produces.

  4. As of right now I keep going back to BattleNations but I think it’s almost played out. WeRule is always hanging around in the background.

  5. My favorite game is Jetpack Joyride – it never gets old. Really fun. I play it over and over.

  6. Lots of favorites, but my forever go-to is Pixelogic – love picross games and they’re perfect for the ipad!

  7. I’m a Words with Friends convert, nice to play against a real opponent, even if I lose constantly.

  8. My favorite iOS game is Words with Friends! It is great because it provides a great opportunity to keep in touch with family and friends and a good way to sharpen your vocabulary and spelling!

  9. Osmos is my all time favorite. Awesome yet simple graphics and design. But the thing that makes it the best are the sounds fr sure.

  10. My favorite IOS game is PinballHD. The name speaks for itself, it is a great pinball app with real time action..

  11. My new favorite app (game) the new Merriam Webster with with voice search by Dragon. Probably not designed to be a game but I find it to be my “go to” time occupier when time permits.

  12. My favorite game by far is Smash Cops in which you drive a cop car around and try to get bad guys off the roads by hitting them. It has a kind of funky control scheme but it works pretty well.

  13. I don’t play games much on iPad, but when I do get bit by the bug, I play Infinity Blade 2 the most.

  14. Sean Hill

My favorite apps are the Angry Birds series, especially Angry Birds Space that just came out!

  15. My favorite iPad game is Teach Me — it’s my favorite because my 7 year old son plays and learns about reading and math and has fun doing it.

  16. My all time favorite game is Osmos HD, closely followed by Master of Alchemy HD. My Kindle app is the one I spend the most time overall on, but it doesn’t really count as a game, does it? 🙂

  17. By far my favorite iOS game is unblock me. It is challenging and is a good way to keep your brain in shape. And it’s fun.

  18. My favorite iOS game is Jelly Wars by Star Arcade. It is a turn-based strategy game where two players battle by firing jelly bombs across custom-designed levels. Each player takes a turn to pick off the opposing player using different jelly bombs.

  19. I really like the Infinity Blade series. Not too long, but the graphics and gameplay are absolutely stunning!

  20. My favorite game right now is Mountains of Madness. I like the way winter scenes and snow look on the iPad. The game is an adventure/hidden object game where you’re trying to find out what happened to an exploratory expedition. Most are killed one is missing and the killers of the expedition also appear to have been killed. You get to explore a secret city, underground locations, and puzzle solve as if you’re there. It’s totally cool.

  21. My fav game is Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP.

It’s a classic side-scrolling adventure game with 8 bit graphics (don’t be fooled, they’re sweet!) and an outstanding soundtrack. Really just one of the greatest games since Zelda first came out. Very satisfying!

  22. I love World of Goo. It’s a physics – based game where you control small goo balls and build structures with them.

  23. My favorite game is talking Larry. It brings hours of enjoyment to my children… (and myself too)

  24. At the moment my most favorite most played game (when I have a WiFi connection) is Words with Friends. I also have The Smurfs and “Coin Dozer” which the kids I sit for LOVE (when they are allowed screen time.) I have only had an iPad for a short while, so I haven’t yet added many games.

I did add a few games that it turned out you needed a wifi connection to play even when it didn’t seem essential to the game. I deleted those.

  25. Casino Ace seems to keep me playing Texas Hold’em for way too long and when I lose I feel like I’m losing real money for some reason. I wish I had thousands of dollars, heck even hundreds would be great, ha.

  26. Well, it’s not really my favorite, but the one I do play the most is Words with Friends.

  27. My favorite game is UNO. Sure I play others but I always come back to the card game of my childhood.

  28. Its a tough choice between infinity blade and jet pack joyride. But I’ll have to go with the latter as I think I play it alot more often!!!!

  29. Temple Run is my favorite. It’s a great game because it keeps you thinking and it’s fast moving.

  30. I have to say my most played iOS game is *sigh* Angry Birds. I wish I hadn’t gotten addicted, but the levels are so cloyingly simple. I’m much prouder that I have D&D books in my iBooks to help gaming sessions, though.

  31. Sudoku Joy, cause I can add new puzzels from the newspaper.

Closely followed by Angry Birds, cause I love their little “cheers”.

  32. I’d say I’ve spent most time with Trade Nations – nearly two years of playing. Would love to get something like xconq or other nation building games you can put a little time in over a long period.

  33. Marsha Saenz-Jones

Fruit Salad is one of my faves. It’s one of those games where you have to line up three or more objects in a row to get them to blast out and more to appear. Mindless, but fun!

  34. I am playing Bruce lee dragon warrior hd! Hopefully to go with my future cloud Dragon Oberon case! It’s a great fighting game for my iPad! Be water my friend!
