A few short hours ago the frenzy of Black Friday began and shoppers looking for a great deal have started to flood the mall and other retail outlets. There are deals on everything from MacBook Airs and iPads to Blu-Ray players and more at Wal-Mart. Many retailers are also now looking forward to Cyber Monday where they will offer their wares online at significant discounts. What door busters are you shopping for this Holiday season? I’d rather stick a fork in my eye than go shopping on Black Friday 🙂 I’m still in my pajamas and plan to be that way till noon thank you very much 🙂 I’ll take advantage of Cyber Monday deals though.
Well, I usually do the same but I’d never get goodies. This time, I went to BB for Ipad2($50 off, for my office use) and miraculously, got Asus eee pad Transformer for $249.99 at 4pm. I thought it was already gone at 12am since it was doorbuster. After BB’s dumb way of putting all the Apple stuff at register so I had to stand in line for an hour( there were plenty of Ipad2 anyway), I passed by blocked area with staffs and saw number of eee Pad which they told me that they were for ticketed customers. In 20 min, they will give it to people on first come base. I waited and got it. I hope I don’t have buyers remorse on this one. 🙂
I was tempted to hit up best buy for the Asus eee pad, like Joe – but I decided to sleep in (and be late for work anyway).
Apparently the weather here was perfect for camping out in parking lots though.
