Kenton Sorenson designs simple, elegant leather goods in his Wisconsin studio. His pieces are made from salt-cured, vegetable-tanned leathers from “unbranded male cattle hides raised by American ranchers – a type less than 1% of all available hides.” Each piece is “cut, oiled, conditioned with beeswax, and hand stitched using a heavy thread prior to the installation of hardware when appropriate.” Shown above is the Short Stay Bag. The bag has a padded handle with baseball stitching and a shoulder strap. All hardware is nickel plated. All this handcrafting and attention to detail isn’t cheap; the Short Stay Bag is $1700.00. Kenton Sorenson also offers an iPad envelope case, iPad sleeve, iPhone cases, and other items in his online store.

WOW, and I thought Saddleback Leather Bags were expensive
Beautiful bag but one hell of a price! 🙂
The bag only holds clothes for a short stay because it knows you don’t have enough money for a long stay after buying it! 😉
Who can afford to go anywhere after buying it
Beautiful bag!!!! Those of you bad mouthing the price obviously have no clue how much time it takes to hand craft a piece of art, just go back to walmart, buy your $60 chinese POS, and replaced it after a few travels. I do leather work as well, and appreciate the skill and talent it takes to make something this nice. Quality is NOT cheap, cheap is NOT quality – you get what you pay for!
