The CompSpy Stealth Computer Spy w/Remote Spying from Gadgets and Gear is a covert application that runs in the background of a computer. Will instantly email you when certain keywords have been typed in. It will also send screen shots. Installs in 15 seconds on any Windows PC or laptop and is not detected by most anti-spyware software. The price for this spy gadget isn’t cheap at $199.95. Have you ever used a gadget like this to spy on someone?

The device itself is just a standard USB flash drive; it just holds the real product, which is a kind of surveillance software. There’s almost no information on the website that discusses the specifics (memory resident vs. installed, for example) of that software (does it show up in Process Explorer?) or of how it operates (how configurable is it?). Someone would be better off going with a more recognized (and cheaper) product for the purpose like SpectorSoft’s offerings.
Why do they put the product brand right on the device, and why do they use a full-sized flash drive? It reminds me of this picture from The Onion: http://www.theonion.com/articles/fbi-agents-cover-blown-by-own-jacket,9784/
@Mina:
The drive doesn’t stay in the computer. It’s just a flash drive that holds the installer. The surveillance is all done by software.
Ah. I thought it was like a USB keylogger device. Its amazing how flash drives are replacing CDs as the distribution medium of choice.
