The Crucial Case for iPad from Chima Designs is aptly named. This simple case does the job of five accessories. First of all, the iPad zips inside a frame and is covered by a front flap for protection during travel. When closed, the double zipper protects the ports and controls of the iPad; just unzip a section to have access to the controls. There’s a hand strap you slide your hand into for stability and security while you use the iPad. There’s a detachable mounting system that lets you mount your iPad on a car seat back; you can also mount it on an airplane food tray. An adjustable kickstand lets you use the Crucial Case as an iPad stand. Finally, there are two pockets on the inside of the front cover to hold iPad accessories. It’s made of ballistic nylon in Seattle, WA, and it’s only available in black. The Chima Crucial Case is available for $59.95. If you order before December 10, shipping is free.
