Tokyoflash Jackpot LED Watch

It’s time for another novelty LED watch review! Today we take a look at the Jackpot LED watch from Tokyoflash. This watch will not only tell time, but it will let you play a slot machine type game.

Tokyoflash sells all kinds of unique LED watches. This watches aren’t for everyone as they tend to blink, flash, beep and boop. But if you like your time piece to be a little offbeat, you will like this one.

The Jackpot LED watch has a thick stainless steel case which is approximately 1.625 x 1.625 x 0.5 inches and weighs 2 oz. It’s a chunky watch with a nice heft to it. The band is Black leather and can accommodate a wrist from 6 to 8 inches in diameter. The watch is powered by a CR2032 coin cell battery.

The watch has 3 large spring loaded buttons. Two on the Right side and one on the Left. This buttons allow you to display the time and date, as well as play the built in slots game.

Setting the time and date on the Jackpot watch is not difficult. It requires that you use a pointy object to press the function button located between the two buttons on the Right side. From there, you press the top Right button (when viewing the watch from the front) to adjust the hours and minutes. The same is true for setting the date.

The time of day only shows on the watch face when you press the top Right button. Pressing this button will cause the numbers to scroll and beeping sounds like a slot machine for a few seconds, before stopping on the current time. Pressing the button a second time will show the date. If you don’t want to sit through the scrolling numbers to see the current time, you can press the button again quickly so that it will stop the animation and immediately show the time.

As you will notice, the watch as a four digit display that is made up of bright Red LEDs. Each digit is made up of 15 Red dots.

To play the slot game, you first set your betting amount by pressing the Right bottom button. Your bet can be between 1 and 5. Then to play, you press the Left button. This will cause the digits to scroll and beeping noises to occur. If you hold down the button, the digits will keep scrolling until you release the button. Like any slots game, the object is to get matching symbols to win. The symbols used with the Jackpot watch range from numbers, to letters, to symbols that look like crosses, hearts and cherries. After each ‘spin’, your accumulated winnings will be displayed. The slot game is amusing and fun to do when you’re standing in line at the grocery store or post office. I do wish there was a way to silence the beeping noises. They tend to get on my nerves quickly ;o)
