This has nothing to do with gadgets or technology, but I had to share my latest health news. For those of you following along at home, I was diagnosed with Diabetes this past December. At that time my A1C test was 6.7, then 3 months later it was 6.4 and now it is 6.0 which is in the normal range (no Diabetes). That doesn’t mean I’m cured, but it means I’m doing a good job of controlling it with just diet and exercise. My cholesterol is the lowest it’s every been as well (154). Yay me! :o)

Now for some gadget talk… If you have a Palm OS or Pocket PC smartphone, and are an instant message junkie like I am, you will want to check out VeriChat from PDAapps. This is a cool application that is similar to Trillian for the PC. It allows you to have an always on connection to Yahoo!, ICQ, AIM and MSN networks. Even when your phone is in standby, the instant messages from your buddies will come through. This app also works with WiFi enabled Palm and Pocket PCs. It just isn’t quite as cool on them.

In other news, we’re going to have a contest soon to celebrate the new site design. More about that later this week or next week.
