Here is an update on the continuing Pocket Informant v.3 evolution…
Alex sent me PI beta 7 the other morning. This is an almost complete product, and it is just about bug-free! I haven't run into any real glitches with it yet, and I am really giving it a workout. Be sure to check out the WebIS site if you are not satisfied with the “stock” Pocket PC PIMs. There is a pre-release version of PI 3.0 available on the site now, so be sure to check it out!
For those of you in the area, remember that the first Monday of every month is when the Austin Pocket PC Users Group gets together. Sooooo, the next meetings will be March 4th, followed by April 1st. These gatherings are completely informal, and if you have a “new toy” you want to share – that is always encouraged. We usually meet somewhere where food is served, so come and plan on relaxing for a bit.
