If you are like a lot of The Gadgeteer readers, you have at least one EDC setup. Then like most of us, you are always looking to add new and useful items to your EDC. The Tuls, a Kickstarter project from Dave and Calvin Laituri, may be worth taking a look at. Tuls is a set of four laser-cut, 18-gauge stainless steel card-sized tools designed to be carried in a wallet or on a keychain. The tools and features are as follows:
- Stan for mobile devices with a vertical stand and cord winder
- Lucy for bolts with standard and metric wrench openings
- Roul for measuring and drawing with standard and metric scales
- Opie a bottle opener.
This project has many pledge options available, with a pledge of $22 getting you your choice of a single Tuls tool. Funding for this project runs until September 10, 2013 with an estimated product delivery in the October 2013 time frame.
