Amazon today released a new firmware for their Kindle Paperwhite.  Firmware 5.3.3 can either be downloaded and manually installed or you can wait for it to come over the air if you have your Wi-fi enabled on your Paperwhite.  There’s actually no change log on the web and it’s a full OS update (rather than an upgrade or incremental) so be prepared to download around 164MB.

It’s coming down as I type and if there are any issues with it I’ll report back. (Yes I know working in IT I should be more careful and wait for some feedback on it but scarily enough I trust Amazon 🙂 )
