A hidden camera that’s literally “plug and play”

Spy cameras hidden in teddy bears too obvious?  How about something truly ordinary?

Yes, this innocent looking “wall wart” actually houses a video camera with an internal DVR that records onto a micro SD card.  It features motion detection activated recording and can record up to 32 hours on a single micro SD card.

Cost is $295 and includes a 4GB micro SD card.  A Pro version is available for $395 which adds continuous 24/7 recording and a time/date stamp on the recorded files.

I think that’s a very clever idea!

I don’t know… How useful is it to catch up to 32 hours of someones ankles moving back and forth across the field of view?

I thought of that. You’d either need a really long distance or an outlet at counter height (say, a kitchen).

I have just the outlet for it that faces the front door and should cover anyone’s coming and going with my stuff.
Price is a bit steep though :(
