Sceptre Launches the Luna Pocket Video Projector and MP3 Player

The Luna pocket video projector and MP3 player from Sceptre is small enough to fit in your hand, but it packs a punch.  The Luna100W is a 5 lumens projector that has 640 X 480 maximum resolution and can project a 5″ to 55″ image up to 99″ away.  It has a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that can play 5 hours of music files or 1 hour of video between charges.  It comes with a 2GB microSD card, but you can use your own card up to 32GB.  It plays MP3, WAV, and WMA audio files and AVI, MOV, MPEG, BMP, and JPEG audio and photo files.  The Luna has an MSRP of $169.99, and it can be purchased at various retailers like Target, NewEgg, QVC, K-Mart, Amazon, Walmart, and Sears.

    Seriously – 5 Lumens?

What is the point of that? Is it even visible in anything but a completely dark room?

    I bet it’s a typo… I imagine it’s a 5 Watt LED putting-out 100 Lumens.

The 5 lumens is listed on the specifications page for the Luna. I did make a typo, though. I should have said Luna100W instead of 100W. I’ve corrected that in the post.
