If you have a swimming pool at your home, you may have found that it is a hazard for small animals.  You snap this Frog Saver Lily Pad to your pool ladder or attach it to the pool wall, and it gives the frog or other small animal a steady platform to climb out before they drown.  The Frog Saver Lily Pad is $15.00 in the online PETA catalog.

Looks neat. Is there a place to get it where I’m not supporting the crazies at PeTA?

DStall – it seems easy enough to make one yourself. A medium sized piece of styrofoam, drill a hole in it far enough from the edge to support its own meager weight and that of an amphibian, add a length of whatever matches your decor and voilà. It’ll be cheaper than $15 too.
