Amazon.com has released Kindle reader software for PCs. If you don’t have a Kindle, you can buy Kindle ebooks and read them on your computer. If you do have a Kindle, Whispersync will keep your last read page synched up between your Kindle and your PC and will allow you to access your notes. Download the free application here.
Versions for Blackberry and Mac should soon be available.

I saw the Amazon Kindle for PC application first during the Windows 7 launch event in NY a few weeks ago.
Very cool that Amazone is taking a multi-platform approach like for example Evernote.
Most impressed with however by the Amazon Whispersync technology …
