Black and color print speeds are determined in default, single-side mode, in accordance with ISO/IEC 24734. Actual print times will vary based on system configuration, software, and page complexity. See www.epson.com/printspeed for details, including complete ISO reports. 9Cartridge yields are based on continuous printing of a suite of five black and color pages as required by ISO/ IEC 24711 and 24712. Actual yields will vary considerably for reasons including images printed, print settings, temperature and humidity. Yields may be lower when printing infrequently or predominantly with one ink color. A variable amount of ink remains in the cartridges after the “replace cartridge” signal. Part of the ink from the first cartridges is used for priming the all-in-one. Ink is used for both printing and print head maintenance. All inks are used for both black and color printing. Epson Artisan series is one of the best ones they came out with.
I own a Epson Artisan 835, it was the first Epson printer I had purchased in a couple of years and was really surprised by how well it performs.
Prints speeds are pretty fast, not much slower than a laser printer, and far faster than my old printer.
I have mine configured for wireless use and haven’t had a problem using it on all the computers in my house.
Only criticism is you’ll have to be a little careful on the paper you use. Too soft and the printer can grab a bunch at a time and jam.
The small ink cartridges are a little small though and can run out pretty quick. So keep a few spares of each color handy… Unless you opt for the optional external ink tanks that I think a 3rd party ink company makes for this series.
I bought the 835 about 5 months ago. Biggest complaint is the paper jamming 90 percent of the time I print. Also so mad I cannot print from my iOS devices. Otherwise the quality and speed of the printer are great
