I love it when technology solves problems! A couple weeks ago, the west coast ABC feed on DirecTV was down one night and I missed recording one of my new favorite TV shows: Lost. I was pretty bummed about it until I found that I could download shows using Bittorrent. Although it took several days off and on to download the 357mb AVI file using my Direcway satellite ISP, I didn't care. Once I had the file, I then found a tutorial that showed me how to easily convert the AVI to an MPEG file that my ReplayTV could play. How did I then get the file to my ReplayTV from my computer? I streamed it using DVArchive. All of this was a mostly painless process and worked great!
