If you have a dog, you have stood in the rain with him while he does his business. No big deal for you, if you have an umbrella, but what about Fido? If you want to avoid wet dog smell, get your pooch his own umbrella – the Dogbrella. It’s a 29″ diameter canopy (think inverted umbrella) with a short leash connected in the center. It’s designed for dogs up to 15 lbs. and less than 24″ long and costs $29.95. I bet Rihanna has one for her dog!

I can just see the scene, on a rainy and windy day, the pooch does a Mary Poppins…
Also, in order to pick up the doggie-doo, one needs then to somehow close their own umbrella, so it won’t fly away, hold it in the other hand, bend down to pick up the stuff, tie off the bag, one handed, almost a Minute-to-Win-It trick!
@Amir I’d like to see that!
Julie, that’s 1 demerit for the title. BAD BAD Julie. 😉
@Andrew Awwwwww 🙁 Got you to read it though! 😉
You know those umbrella hats for humans….put it on your Gaga doggie…haha
Looks funny. You’ll sure get some attention.
😉
Haha one of the silliest inventions ever lol !
If you’re the kinda person who would buy one of these you probably dress your dog anyways, so just put a raincoat on the little yapper 🙂
I’m tempted.
I don’t dress my dog in clothes, but she hates to go in the rain, so this might actually be helpful. What I typically try to do is to try to cover her with my umbrella while she goes, which is difficult because she walks all over, and meanwhile, I’m getting wet myself.
lol it’s a cute idea. But there are dogs that will panic because of the sound they’ll hear on the umbrella. For us the sound is nothing. For them it’s already like a big thump.
As Amir said, it would be a big problem if it’s raining, then you’re holding the umbrella and your dog suddenly does his thing on the road. What are you going to do? Let your dog get wet on the rain? get the doo? or leave it? Seriously; leaving the doo is certainly not a right answer to choose.
