If you want less time pushing a vacuum, Shark’s AI Ultra is down to $249.99. If you still need something for stairs, car seats and crumbs caught in the couch, a cordless stick makes more sense. Three early Amazon offers put those choices between $249.99 and $379.99, including a Shark stick that empties its own dust cup.
Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6 and 7, but these U.S. offers are already showing Prime-member prices. The useful decision is how much of the job you want to hand over: the floor cleaning itself, the bin emptying, or neither.

Shark AI Ultra: $249.99 to put routine floor cleaning on a schedule
The Shark AI Ultra AV2511AE is the least expensive pick here and the only one that moves around the floor by itself. Amazon’s Prime price is $249.99 against a displayed $599 comparison price, a $349.01 difference. This is the black-and-silver robot with the 60-day bagless self-emptying base. It’s also $20 below the price in our July 4 coverage of the same model.

It uses LiDAR to map your rooms, and the SharkClean app lets you schedule cleaning or send it to a particular room. Matrix Clean sends it over an area in a grid with multiple passes. Those features make this the most relevant option for someone who already owns a vacuum and wants help with the floor between bigger cleans.
The dock is part of the appeal. The robot transfers collected debris into a larger bin, which Shark says holds up to 60 days’ worth. You don’t have to keep buying disposal bags, although you’ll still empty the base and maintain the filters and brush.
This model vacuums; it doesn’t mop. It also leaves stairs and upholstery to you. Choose it for automated floor upkeep, with the understanding that a robot and a handheld tool solve different parts of the same chore.
Dyson V8: $269.99 for a simpler cordless setup
At Amazon’s $269.99 Prime price, the silver-and-nickel Dyson V8 costs $120 less than the listing’s $389.99 comparison price. The offer is model 626423-01, with a Motorbar floor head, crevice tool, wall dock and charger.

That small kit covers the basics without a large floor-standing emptying station. Leave the wand attached for floors, or take it off and use the crevice tool around car seats and narrow gaps. The Motorbar has hair-removal vanes designed to clear wrapped hair from the brush bar.
There are two power modes, and you hold the trigger while cleaning. Dyson rates runtime at up to 40 minutes, with actual time depending on the mode, floor and attachment. A long cleaning session on the higher setting won’t deliver that maximum.
Check what comes with this V8 before choosing it. This listing doesn’t include a separate Fluffy hard-floor head or a mini motorized upholstery tool. If those are the attachments you wanted, compare the total price of the right bundle before adding extras.
Shark PowerDetect Pet Plus: $379.99 for a stick that empties itself
The PowerDetect Pet Plus Clean & Empty IP3253 is $110 more than the Dyson. That gets you a dock that charges the vacuum and pulls debris out of its dust cup when you put it away. Its $379.99 Prime price is $165.01 below Amazon’s displayed $545 comparison price.

The flexible wand is another reason to consider it: it bends so you can reach under furniture without lowering the whole handle to the floor. Shark’s sensors adjust cleaning power for dirt, floor type, edges and cleaning direction, rather than leaving every adjustment to you.
This gray-and-gold IP3253 bundle includes a flexible crevice tool, FurFins tool and odor-neutralizer puck. Shark’s up-to-70-minute runtime figure is measured in Eco mode at the hand vacuum, so it isn’t a promise of 70 minutes using the powered floor head. The company rates the dock for up to 45 days of debris storage.
The extra $110 is worth considering if the emptying dock and bending wand would make cleaning easier for you. Check where the base will live first. It needs its own floor space near an outlet, and the larger bin still needs emptying eventually.

The Shark robot makes the most sense as help for a home that already has a manual vacuum. The Dyson keeps the cordless setup straightforward and costs $110 less than the self-emptying Shark stick. The IP3253 earns that extra spend if its dock and flexible wand address something you dislike about your current vacuum.
