What is it?
The MERACH Slim Vibration Plate is a small platform with a suction-cup base and a silicone top surface for grip. You step on top, turn it on, and it vibrates at different speeds, with claims that it can help burn fat and calories, aid in muscle recovery, improve circulation, and improve lymphatic drainage.
What is lymphatic drainage? According to Google:
Lymphatic drainage is a process that helps move lymph fluid through the lymphatic system, a network of vessels and nodes that plays a key role in immune function and fluid balance. The lymphatic system collects excess fluid from tissues, removes waste products, and helps defend the body against infections.

Design and features
With dimensions of 20.3″D x 11.3″W x 4.7″H, the MERACH Slim Vibration Plate won’t take up too much space in your home. You can easily store it under the bed, in a closet, etc., when it’s not in use.
It’s an oval-shaped platform with a silicone mat on top that provides excellent grip while you’re standing on it, with or without shoes.
There’s also a display that shows the time elapsed, speed, and calories burned while you’re using it.
The top of the vibration plate has a slight curve to it and when you step on top, it has a slight pivot to the board when you shift your weight from side to side.
The bottom features large suction cup feet that keep the vibration board in place on hard surfaces. Note that you can also use it on carpeted floors.
The board does not have any buttons except for the main power switch on the back.
Let’s do the shake!
Using the MERACH 2398 Slim Vibration Plate is simple: you don’t have to pair it with your phone, install any apps, or create any accounts. All you do is insert the power cord into the base, plug the other end into an outlet, flip the main power switch, load the included batteries into the remote, and press the On/Off button. It will immediately start vibrating. Tip: stand on the board BEFORE you press the on/off switch on the remote 😉
The remote has + and – buttons to adjust the vibration intensity. There are 10 levels. Or, you can press the Auto button and the board will change the level up and down throughout the session. The board will vibrate for 10 minutes before automatically turning off.
The built-in display cycles through the session time, intensity level, and calories burned. The time and intensity level are pretty self-explanatory, but I’m not sure what’s going on with the calorie burn display. It shows as 4 digits without a decimal point. After using the vibration plate for 10 minutes, it said I had burned 0483 calories 😉 Yeah, I don’t think so. Maybe 04.83 calories?
Update: Looks like I found a bug for them! They now know about the issue with the calorie display and will fix it with newer units.
So, what does it feel like to use the MERACH Vibration Plate? Well, it feels just like you would imagine – like you’re standing on a vibrating platform. I didn’t expect much from it at all and was surprised by how strong the vibration actually is. It’s not so strong that it will throw you off the platform, but you do have to keep an eye on your balance. This is a good thing. It means that you’re using your core to keep your balance, which means that you’re using your muscles.
But does it actually help you burn fat and calories, and with lymphatic drainage? That’s the big question, and I don’t have a good answer for you because I don’t have a way to measure that. I will tell you that standing on it for 10 minutes at the level 10 intensity level did feel like it improved my circulation. It was a great way to take a few minutes to work out the kinks in my legs and back from sitting at the computer for several hours. I think it also helped with muscle soreness/stiffness from the previous day’s leg workout.
I will say that it did not make me feel like I had done a real workout. Some people in the comments section of the Amazon product page said it made them sweat. Maybe that’s true for beginners on a fitness journey, but that wasn’t my experience. It did make my legs slightly itchy and tingly while I was on it, but I never worked up a sweat at all.
Note that the user manual shows you can use the vibration plate for more than just standing on it. You can use it while doing specific exercises, like planks. I can see how that could help you work up more of a sweat than doing the same exercises without the vibration plate.

Final thoughts
The MERACH Slim Vibration Plate is easy to use with no apps or complicated setup. It’s compact and sturdy, making it an easy addition to your fitness routine. While it won’t replace a full workout, it does a good job of shaking things up (see what I did there?) just enough to help with circulation and muscle stiffness after sitting or exercise.
The calorie counter isn’t obvious, and the 10 minute session time can feel short, but it’s a handy tool to add some gentle muscle activation. You can also amp it up by pairing it with other exercises, like planks.
At $109.99, it’s a simple, budget-friendly gadget that works as a nice supplement, but is not a magic weight-loss solution. If you want to try something low-impact to boost circulation and muscle recovery, this vibration plate is worth a look.

- No apps or pairing with another device required
- Relatively quiet
- Can be used with other exercises in addition to just standing on it
