REVIEW – Imagine you have been going non-stop and finally arrive at your child’s concert. As you pull your phone out to record that look of joy on their face, the little red battery starts flashing to let you know your phone is almost dead. The INIU pocket size charger comes with a cable that also acts as a wrist strap, is small enough to fit in your pocket, and can fast charge so you don’t have to miss anything.

Design and features
Most of the time, I don’t stop to think about what I have that needs to be charged. I know my phone and watch are a given, and I usually can make it a day or two before one of them dies completely. However, there are a lot of times that I am doing something that I didn’t even think about needing a charger. I have a Kindle and a page turner for the Kindle that has a really long battery life. I mean, I believe I’ve charged the page turner twice in the last year, and I use this item daily. So I don’t think about charging it, even if I am going on a trip. I also have some smaller devices that I don’t use as much, like a smart ring, or digital pens for drawing. Small tablets for the kids, or something for the babies that makes noises. You get what I mean. There are just so many things that need to be charged. This gets even worse when it’s time for a trip, or during those busy times of the year. My brain is in a million different directions. The INIU pocket size portable charger can reduce your stress, at least when it pertains to the electronics.
There were at least twice last year during different events that I was going full speed until the big moment. I sat down at the concert, pulled out my phone and started to record. The five percent battery indicator was already flashing. At this point, every scenario went through my head. I could run home and miss the first part of the concert. Maybe I could just ask someone else to send me their recording? Is the event really important enough that I need to stress about recording? The joy on the faces of my children, and the extended family that get to watch these videos made me want to be prepared and never let one of these moments happen again.
Of course, we have all seen those battery packs that could power a small car because they are so incredibly big and bulky. I think this is a great investment for a lot of things, but everyday use isn’t one of them. I don’t want to go to my kids soccer game, and bring a charger that needs more space in my car than the kids do. I don’t want to reserve the seat next to me in the concert for my power station.
My new favorite thing is the battery pack from INIU. It is small enough to fit in your pocket, has a 10000mAh battery capacity, fast charge, two USB-C in and out ports, and one USB-A out. But on top of all of those fun features, it has a cute little USB-C to USB-C cable that acts as a wrist strap if you aren’t charging anything. So not only do I always have room for the small, cute, powerful, fast battery, but I don’t have to dig through my purse to try to find a cable. It doesn’t solve all of my charging problems, but most of my current devices use the USB-C cable. If I really need something else, I still have to dig through the entire contents of my mom bag. I have honestly saved a lot of time and stress just by tossing this battery into my purse before I go anywhere. I also think having one in my car is a great idea. It can charge while I drive and when I arrive at my destination, I have a backup for all the things. I love it. It can even fit in those silly things on girl pants that they have the audacity to call pockets.
The speed charging on the INIU battery pack is fantastic. I can plug my phone in, and within 25 minutes have more than fifty percent. My iPad can run some pretty intense programs, and this little power bank can keep up.
The small cable that comes with the device is only about six inches, so don’t get too crazy. This little battery is about an inch thick, and isn’t able to charge or magnetize onto anything, but the size and included cable make the fancy features unnecessary. Another thing is that there are so many cute colors to choose from. They sent me the blue one, but there are also green, pink, white, black, and more.
I feel like the screen on the front of this battery is a little deceiving. It looks large enough to fill up with many things, but really only displays the percentage that is left. It’s disappointing, but it doesn’t affect the way that the battery runs, so I don’t mind so much.
Final thoughts
If I am ever in a pinch and need a charger I would pick this one. It is small enough to fit in pockets or purses, and doesn’t take up much space in the car. It has fast charging, and comes with a wrist strap that is also a C to C USB cable. I have everything I need all in one. It can also charge up to three items at once. I also like that it comes in such fun colors and is easier to find than my black chargers.
