NEWS – I don’t back many projects on Kickstarter, but I just backed the Miscope campaign. I just couldn’t help myself when I saw this one because I have loved playing around with kaleidoscopes since I was a kid.
What is it?
The Miscope is a miniature kaleidoscope made of aluminum with professional-grade mirrors.
Why do I like it?
I like the Miscope because it has a cool modular design. The ends are interchangeable, and the suspended contents inside provide different views. There’s also an attachment that you can use to turn anything that you can see into a pattern. The Miscope can be used with an optional universal phone holder to take pictures of the colorful patterns and it’s small enough to take with you for fun and creativity anywhere you go.
Where can I find more info?
The Miscope campaign ends on 10/11/24, and the company has already met its funding goal of $5,000. You can pre-order a Miscope starting at $89. After the Miscope campaign ends, rewards are estimated to begin shipping in January 2025. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details. I can’t wait to get mine!
