Ah, summertime. The kids want to chuck school and chillax, but how do you keep their brain juices flowing (at least as a background process) till fall? Check out SYNC. It’s an online community that’s working to build the audience for and promote audiobooks among readers 13+. SYNC is a great way for teens to use their MP3 players to check titles off their reading lists, and families can revisit the classics on long road trips. Each week, July 1 through September 1, 2010, SYNC is giving away 2 free downloads–a popular Young Adult title paired with a Classic title that appears on summer reading lists. SYNC is hosted by Audiobook Community, a new social networking site for the discovery of audiobooks. Go here to check out the downloads.

Hey there–thanks for the mention! Things are really getting going over at the Sync Group on Audiobook Community (audiobookcommunity.com), and there’s only more to come.
Hope to see you there!
Take care,
