REVIEW – Once again it is summer in NY and the hot sizzling tempos are here. While I use window ACs in most of the rooms in my home, a good oscillating fan that is capable of providing actual cooling would be a welcome device, especially with these ridiculous prices for electricity. Since I am a gadget geek, a fan with Wi-Fi and app controls would be my preference. well, guess what!! This Dreo 43”Polyfan Max S Pedestal Fan with Remote might actually get my vote.

The Dreo 43”Polyfan Max S Pedestal Fan with Remote is made of metal, plastic, and ABS. The base is heavy metal and connects to the fan from the bottom via a bolt. There is a screw with a knob that connects the base pole to the fan and allows the fan height to be adjusted. Higher up on the pole there is a LED display. There are also touch controls on the top of the fan and an included remote control.
Setup
The setup process required for this Dreo 43”Polyfan Max S Pedestal Fan with Remote is minimal. The only requirement is to attach the base to the fan and insert the fan on the adjustable pole and tighten via the knob. It is no different than any conventional fan.
Performance
The Dreo 43”Polyfan Max S Pedestal Fan with Remote is a really nice, great-performing oscillating air circulator. In addition to its manual height adjustment, its movement, and airflow can be customized and manipulated very nicely via the remote and even more so via the app. There are touch controls on the top that provide versatile control.
App: The app allows for much control of the Dreo 43”Polyfan Max S Pedestal Fan. Installing the app is also straightforward on the iPhone. The following are some screenshots from the app that show the installation process and some of the available controls:
Overall, I really like this fan/air circulator, and I use it every night when I sleep. I usually have it oscillating side to side within a 30-degree movement. It really circulates the air well and helps to drop the room temperature even on a hot day. I like the app so much that I hardly use the remote, and never use the touch controls on the fan.
