NEWS – Meross has announced the availability of a HomeKit enabled LED floor lamp, the MSL610HK. Coming in a three-piece modular design, this lamp can be adjusted up to 54.7 inches, or 22 inches for use on a desk, with the included base or clamp.
The MSL610HK Smart Floor Lamp features a flexible gooseneck and rotates 360 degrees so it can be aimed just where you need it. While not a color changing light, the color temperature can be adjusted between 2,700K and 6,000K to match your space and set just the right mood. Light comes from a 650 lumen, 12 watt LED lamp and is dimmable through a control panel on the lamp, an included remote control, or an app on your iPhone or Android phone.
On top of support for HomeKit, the lamp is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and SmartThings.

I know that the conversion from lumens to watts is not exact but a 650 lumen LED lamp is equivalent to about a 60 watt incandescent bulb in terms of lighting output. This means that this LED lamp puts out hardly any light. That is the problem with most of the LED bulbs. Try to get a LED light that puts out the light equivalent of a 100 or 150 watt incandescent bulb.
Good point. Yes, the conversion can be complicated. This would probably be best as a task light or reading light rather than expecting it to be the main light in a room. I can think of a lot of scenarios where that’s as much light as I want so I’m not too concerned, but it’s good to know that going in.

I have found that most lamps of this sort have terrible bases and that the post and base between them lead to a leaning lamp. How did this one work out?
