REVIEW – Something as simple as a kitchen faucet may not seem like an exciting subject unless you happen to have a terrible one. The WaterSong Kitchen Sink Faucet review offer was the chance to get rid of the kitchen faucet that I hated. Keep reading to see if it fits the bill!

Design and features

My previous kitchen faucet was not only too low, had separate handles for hot and cold, and was beginning to leak. I was just about to buy a new one when WaterSong offered to send one along for review. Since it was precisely the faucet type that I wanted to get, I jumped at the chance to try it out.

The WaterSong Kitchen Sink Faucet is a tall faucet that features a pull-down sprayer with three modes and a single handle for operation. At the height of 17 inches, it’s tall enough to rinse or fill large items. The sprayer face is about 8.5 inches above the mounting surface and swings in a circle approximately 20.25 inches in diameter (side to side).

The spray modes (spray, stream, and broom) are each handy. I did not expect to use the broom mode, which is like a flat sweeping spay, but I’ve found it quite helpful in blasting food off of dishes without excessive water spattering. The stream mode is the normal mode, whereas the spray mode is like a showerhead. I’ve found each mode useful for particular tasks, but they also cover all the scenarios of dishwashing and sink tasks that one may encounter.

The sprayer pulls out approximately 18 inches which, when combined with the faucet rotation, is enough to cover the entire double-sided sink. The faucets brushed nickel coating is both scratch and corrosion-resistant. It has a maximum flow rate of 1.8gpm at 60psi.

Installation was easy and pretty much standard for faucets nowadays. If you’ve never installed one, it is relatively easy to do if you have standard mounting points for your water supply. The deck plate covered the standard three holes in the sink, but just barely. I would have liked it to have been a little wider, but it works just fine.

The control handle is typically mounted on the side. However, I’m not too fond of that configuration, so I mounted it in the front for left to right (hot to cold) operation.

What I like

  • Works just like it should
  • Long sprayer hose
  • Great height and reach
  • Awesome sprayer modes

What I’d change

  • Slightly wider base plate

Final thoughts

Overall, I’m delighted with the WaterSong faucet. Even better, my wife loves it also. It has been 100% functional, looks, and operates great.
