NEWS – Accessory maker Elago is known for tapping into Apple nostalgia, making retro-themed charging stands for both the Apple Watch and iPhone. In the past, they’ve made accessories that resembled an old-school, the classic iMac, and even an iPod classic. This time, however, their nostalgia is aimed at Apple’s AirPods. Their newest retro design, the AW3, is the successor to the Macintosh inspired W3 Charging Stand for the Apple Watch.
The front of the case features the monitor screen complete with the iconic “hello” etched into it.
Made of flexible, impact-resistant silicone material, the two-piece case is compatible with all models of the AirPods. The front LED is visible through the case, and there’s a cutout on the bottom for charging with the Lightning Cable.
The case also fully supports wireless charging for the Apple AirPods Wireless Charging Case.
