Amazon is in the process of updating their Kindle app, e-Readers, and Fire tablets to include a new navigation feature called Page Flip. This feature allows you to tap on the current page of the book you are reading so that it remembers that page and pins a thumbnail version of it to the side of your screen while you peruse or “flip” to other parts of the book. When you are ready to continue reading where you left off, you just tap on the pinned page to take you back. The update also provides you with a grid view of several of the pages of the book so that you can find the page(s) you are searching for more quickly. This is so handy! No matter what book I’m reading, there is always a point when I want to search the previous pages to find a reference or a particular event that occurred, etc. but it was so tedious to do and then continue reading within the Kindle app. Now it’s easy! Amazon is providing a free over-the-air update for their Kindle e-Readers and Fire tablets and providing a free update for the Kindle app for iOS and Android soon if you haven’t already been updated. My iOS Kindle app works wonderfully but the Android app has yet to be updated as of this writing.

Yes. Great to have Page Flip on the iPhone.
