When I think of air filters, I picture large devices that are too big to use in an office cubicle – and they certainly won’t work in a car. The Air Naturalizer from CritterZone is only 4.5″H x 2.75″W x 2″D, so it’s small enough to place discreetly near your pet’s bed or litter box to contain odors. You can also use it in your office or cubicle at work, in a bedroom or kitchen at home, or anywhere you want to control odors and reduce germs. CritterZone says their Air Naturalizer “creates a natural, charged flow that fills the room or vehicle and continually cleans the air. The sun provides the outdoor air with the power and energy it needs to clean itself: a power and energy that indoor air lacks. CritterZone provides indoor air with the natural charge it needs to virtually eliminate odors, allergens, dust and bacteria.” It’s available as a wall unit that plugs directly into an outlet or with an AC adapter and cord for indoor use (either unit is $89.95) or with a 12V adapter for use in your car ($99.95).

Okay, seriously?!?!
This is a friggin’ ionizer. We had identical devices in 1990. We really did. The ‘natural’ comes from the fact that lightning (and rain storms) release ions. Nothing magic, nothing new here. Except the gullibility of some consumers and reviewers.
Sheesh.
Hi there Techno,
We’d like to jump in and respond to your comment about the CritterZone.
The CritterZone isn’t an ozone generator or an ionizer. It’s re-energizing indoor air, giving it the ability to clean itself, just like outdoor air does with the energy it gets from the sun. The energized, naturally occurring ingredients in the air become active and start creating chemical reactions, breaking down contaminants and tackling tough odors.
