Custom shirts, engraved keychains, and full-size shop signs call for different machines. xTool’s announced Black Friday sale starts November 2, and four picks stand out for those jobs: the WonderPress, F2, F1 Ultra, and P3.
The useful dividing line is what you want to make and how much space it needs. These picks move from pressing a shirt to engraving small gifts, laying out larger metal projects, and cutting signs. The announced US prices run through December 4; they are not today’s checkout prices.
Price: Announced November 2–December 4, 2026 · US store · WonderPress $379 · F2 $1,099 · F1 Ultra $2,299 · P3 $5,999.
Where to buy: WonderPress Heat Press Standalone · F2 Standalone · F1 Ultra · P3 80W CO2 laser cutter
WonderPress: a straightforward starting point for shirt transfers
Price: WonderPress Heat Press Standalone · Announced sale price: $379 · MSRP: $399 · Savings: $20 · November 2–December 4, 2026.
Where to buy: xTool: WonderPress Heat Press Standalone
The WonderPress is the pick for someone who already has a transfer ready and needs to put it on a shirt or tote bag. Its 15-by-15-inch platen provides a dedicated pressing surface, and the automatic press handles the pressure step. The announced standalone price is $379, versus xTool’s $399 MSRP.

We’ve already unpacked the full system in our WonderPress first look. That coverage shows how much equipment the complete kit brings into a workspace. This sale pick is narrower: the heat press, not the full five-in-one setup. The Craft Oven and 3D Form modules are separate configurations.
For flat transfers, that distinction keeps the purchase focused. You don’t need to buy the whole modular system just to press shirts, but you do need a suitable transfer and the space to handle the garment around the platen.
F2: small personalized gifts without a full-size laser cabinet
Price: F2 Standalone · Announced sale price: $1,099 · MSRP: $1,499 · Savings: $400 · November 2–December 4, 2026.
Where to buy: xTool: F2 Standalone
The F2 is the compact engraving pick for tags, keychains, and other small pieces. It combines a 15W diode laser with a 5W infrared laser, giving it a role in both wood engraving and metal personalization. Its announced $1,099 standalone price is $400 below the stated $1,499 MSRP.

The 50MP camera helps position a design, while the standard 4.53-by-4.53-inch working area sets the practical limit. This is a better match for a small blank than a large sign. A slide extension accommodates longer work, but it is a separate accessory, not part of the standalone offer.
That makes the F2 the first laser to consider here when the project is small and the space available for the machine is limited. Plan the safe operating and ventilation setup along with the machine; compact dimensions don’t remove those requirements.
F1 Ultra: more room for metal pieces and small batches
Price: F1 Ultra · Announced sale price: $2,299 · MSRP: $2,999 · Savings: $700 · November 2–December 4, 2026.
Where to buy: xTool: F1 Ultra
The F1 Ultra earns its place when the F2’s working area is the constraint. Its 8.6-by-8.6-inch workspace provides room for a larger design or several small pieces, with a 20W fiber laser and a 20W diode laser covering metal work alongside materials such as wood and leather.
xTool’s announced $2,299 price is $700 below its $2,999 MSRP. The step up buys a different laser combination and considerably more working area, not just another version of the compact F2.
An optional conveyor extends the setup for longer material and batch work. The sale price applies to the listed machine configuration, so a conveyor belongs in the accessory budget rather than the assumed box contents. For a maker repeatedly laying out small personalized pieces, the larger standard workspace is the more immediate reason to choose it.
P3: the workshop choice for larger cuts and signs
Price: P3 80W CO2 laser cutter · Announced sale price: $5,999 · MSRP: $6,999 · Savings: $1,000 · November 2–December 4, 2026.
Where to buy: xTool: P3 80W CO2 laser cutter
The P3 is for projects that outgrow the compact engravers: larger wood and acrylic pieces, including signs. Its 80W CO2 laser works across a 36-by-18-inch area, and xTool’s announced $5,999 price is $1,000 below the stated $6,999 MSRP.
This is a substantial workshop machine. At roughly 49.2 by 30.7 by 19.5 inches and 231.5 pounds, it needs a planned location, access, and ventilation. It is not a machine for a spare corner of a craft table. Automatic positioning, autofocus, and a lifting base help with workpiece setup; rotary and conveyor accessories are separate package choices.
Choose it for the size and type of work you intend to produce. If the plan is only keychains or small tags, the F2 or F1 Ultra is the more relevant comparison. The P3’s larger dollar discount is useful only if you need the larger cutter.
