Restocks don’t usually earn a headline. This one does. These two colors aren’t a new release dressed up as nostalgia, they’re old ones coming back to a knife that hasn’t changed at all. Same blade, same steel, same size in your pocket.
The two colorways that came back
Blacked Out OD Green G10 and Blacked Out Mustard G10 both left the Allman lineup a few years ago. You haven’t been able to buy either one since. WESN calls them OGs, meaning they came before the current colors and built a following before they were dropped.
Mustard is the stranger of the two. Yellowish handles are a hard sell in a category that leans black, grey, and OD green. The ones that stick around do so because some buyers want a knife they can spot in a pile of gear. Dropping it made the lineup safer, and bringing it back makes it more interesting.

Color swatches won’t tell you this one. WESN builds the titanium Allman with a frame lock and the G10 versions with a liner lock. Weight barely enters into it. G10 is actually a hair lighter than titanium, which is the opposite of what most buyers expect, and the difference is too small to feel. Grip is where they separate. G10 has texture, titanium has none.

Prices start at $169 for standard G10 like Sky Blue, and both returning colors cost $179. That extra $10 matches how WESN prices blacked-out finishes elsewhere, where the Blacked Out Microblade also costs more than the standard ones. Two other Allmans make the collection page confusing. Lavender Haze and Voltage Green both cost $219, but they’re separate products rather than color options, so neither is part of this restock.
S35VN is the steel across the whole range, and it’s been the go-to premium steel for close to a decade. It holds an edge and resists rust better than D2, and it’s much easier to sharpen than S90V or M390. You’ll resharpen it. You won’t dread it.
The box holds a user manual, an inspection card, a sticker, and the knife. No sheath. WESN sells a leather Allman sheath separately for $35 in natural or black, made by Stock and Barrel. That’s the kind of add-on that quietly turns a $169 knife into a $204 one.
Add engraving and you’ll pay $20 for two to twelve characters, plus two extra business days. Engraved knives are final sale. That matters on a knife with a 60 day trial period. Personalizing it gives up the return window that made trying Mustard scales low risk.

Closed, the Allman measures 3.8 inches or 9.7 cm, which keeps it pocket-friendly without shrinking to keychain size. Open, it runs 6.65 inches or 16.9 cm on a 2.8 inch blade. Titanium weighs 3.65 oz or 103.5 g, and G10 weighs 3.6 oz or 102 g. Take your pick of Grade 5 titanium or G10 scales.
Blade steel is USA sourced CPM S35VN on every version, the one spec that never changes when you switch handles. That’s why the color choice comes down to grip, lock, and price rather than how well it cuts. Everything else is warranty. Lifetime coverage on defects, 60 days to change your mind.
Who should skip this
Anyone already carrying an Allman in a color they like has no reason to be here. Restocks reward the people who missed out the first time. The knife itself is untouched.
