Todd Snyder and Timex have added a new version of the Marlin Mesh to their long-running collaboration. The watch pairs the original 34mm Marlin case with a stainless steel mesh bracelet and three new dial colors. It’s priced at $199 and went on sale July 28 through both Timex and Todd Snyder.

The mesh bracelet traces back to the Marlin’s second generation in 2018, when Timex added it as an option alongside the case’s original leather strap. Todd Snyder’s take on that bracelet was his second Marlin collaboration, following a black dial version he introduced the year before. The new Marlin Mesh borrows most of its look from that 2018 design, with one significant change under the dial.
What Changed on the Dial
The Marlin Mesh keeps the collection’s original handset but adds a new hour track. Applied metallic markers use Roman numerals at the cardinal points, filled out with dashes at the other hours. A railroad-style minutes track runs around the outer rim of the dial, and Todd Snyder’s stylized TS logo sits above the 6 o’clock marker. The layout matches the dial Timex and Todd Snyder used on the original 2018 mesh version, so returning fans will recognize the design right away.
Timex and Todd Snyder are selling the watch in three dial colors: a sunburst silver finish that matches the original Marlin, a sky blue option, and a pink option. All three ship on the same steel mesh bracelet. The sunburst silver leans closest to the classic Marlin look, while the sky blue and pink options give the reissue a lighter, more casual feel.
Quartz Movement Replaces the Hand-Wound Original
Inside the case is a quartz movement, a change from the hand-wound movement Timex used on the original 2017 Marlin reissue and its early mesh follow-up. The switch trades some of the vintage mechanical appeal for lower maintenance and steadier accuracy, and it’s part of what keeps the price at $199. Owners won’t need to wind the watch by hand or worry about power reserve, since a quartz movement runs on a battery instead of a mainspring.

The Marlin Mesh is just one piece of an expanding partnership between Todd Snyder and Timex that now spans several watch families. This year’s three new colorways mark the latest update to a collaboration that’s been running strong since 2017.
The two brands have also worked together outside the Marlin family. Todd Snyder and Timex released the Olive Marlin Automatic, a 38mm dress watch with an olive sunray dial and leather strap, and the Todd Snyder x Timex 1976 Lexington, a rectangular dress watch that debuted at Todd Snyder’s Spring/Summer 2026 runway show. Timex has also reissued Todd Snyder’s hand-wound Marlin with a 1969 Color Flicks dial design.
The Case and Mesh Bracelet Keep Their Original Proportions
The Marlin Mesh uses the same 34mm polished steel case that debuted on the 2017 reissue, topped with a domed acrylic crystal instead of modern mineral glass. The pie pan-shaped caseback is a pry-off design engraved with the Timex x Todd Snyder collaboration mark. The Milanese-style mesh bracelet is fitted with quick-release flat end links and a sliding clasp, so it can be resized without a jeweler or a spring bar tool. Timex rates the watch to 30 meters of water resistance, enough for splashes and hand washing but not swimming.
