Design and features
This is a lightweight bag that just feels like quality. This is the smallest of the three bags in this style that Bellroy offers and it’s just right for carrying the everyday essentials.
The bag has several different compartment and pockets.
The main compartment has a smaller zippered pocket and a handy little cord with carabiner for keys or other items that you may want to keep close. The internal pocket is perfect for things you need to keep more secure.
The lining is soft and flexible and has worn quite well so far.
The very front of the bag has a slim pocket that blends into the design and is easy to miss if you don’t see the zipper pull.
Performance
Performance over the past few weeks has been very positive. It holds all the basics well and keeps everything in its place. You can see the key pocket with a lanyard on the right.
The cable and lanyard attachment is great! It holds your keys in place and makes them easily accessible. This is one of my wife’s favorite features.
Internal pocket for securing things. Also the perfect Starburst pocket.
Front pocket fits small slim items nicely.
We did do a water test to see how the material held up. The material is not waterproof and could definitely not withstand a dunk in a bucket without leaking, but it is a bit resistant and should be able to protect your things through a little bit of precipitation or free-range children with squirt guns.
Final thoughts
My wife loves this bag, and that is praise that does not come lightly! She has already asked if she can get each of the other sizes of this bag just because she likes it so much. The material and build quality of the bag is incredible. The use of reclaimed plastics from the ocean also just makes it that much better in my book. I highly recommend!
