NEWS – I’m back with another group of interesting new products that both travelers and fans of EDC products will want to check out. The first one caught my attention because I’m gearing up for a vacation trip in the next few weeks and while luggage isn’t necessarily an exciting gadget category, knew even before looking at the Kickstarter campaign that this one from Peak Design would include all the features anyone could think of in a carry-on bag.

Peak Design Roller Pro Carry-On Luggage

What is it?

TheΒ Peak Design Roller Pro carry-on bagΒ is a slim, lightweight rolling bag available inΒ Black, Sage, and Eclipse.

Why do I like it?

I like the Peak Design Roller Pro carry-on because it stands out from other bags because they invented a super-slim carbon fiber handle system called SlimDrive. This new design takes up way less space inside the bag than traditional telescoping handles, giving you more room for your stuff without making the bag bulkier. It also uses a unique β€œdrawbridge” opening instead of the usual clamshell, making it much easier to pack and unpack in tight spaces like airplane aisles or small hotel rooms.

The Roller Pro blends the best parts of hard and soft luggage. It has a tough polycarbonate-reinforced shell wrapped in weather-resistant fabric, plus smart organization features like quick-access pockets, a hidden AirTag slot, and a flexible cord hook system to keep your gear secure and tidy. Photographers can even use this bag for their camera gear using a Peak Designs camera cube insert.

The Roller Pro campaign’s funding goal was $100,000, but it ended with them receiving over $13,000,000 in pledges! Don’t worry, you can still pre-order a Roller Pro starting at $599. After the Roller Pro campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in June 2025. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

Gadget On M1 EDC Organizer

What is it?

TheΒ M1 EDC Organizer is a 180Β° clamshell MOLLE-ready, rugged zippered case for your EDC.

Why do I like it?

I like the M1 EDC Organizer because it organizes all your EDC (keys, pocket knife, flashlight, notebook, multi-tool, etc.) in one compact pouch, so you’re not digging around in your pockets or bag every time you need something. It’s designed for quick access and security, with special pockets and compartments that keep your gear safe and easy to grab.

I also like its modularity. There’s a removable elastic grid board that can hold your essential tools. The rear panel is MOLLE compatible, and the front has a removable Velcro panel. All of these options let you customize the bag exactly as you need it.

The M1 EDC Organizer campaign ends on 05/28/25 and they have already more than doubled their funding goal of $4,021. You can pre-order a M1 EDC Organizer starting at $53. After the M1 EDC Organizer campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in October 2025. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.

RangerPack

What is it?

The RangerPack is a specially designed bag/carrier for your favorite board games.

Why do I like it?

I like the RangerPack because it’s a niche bag designed specifically for board game enthusiasts who want to easily bring more games to game night. The RangerPack can expand to fit up to three full-size board games plus accessories. It has special pockets for dice, tokens, and even a playmat, and can be carried as a backpack, messenger bag, or by the handle. With this bag, you’ll be ready for anything from a quick cafΓ© meetup to a full weekend of D&D adventuring with friends. Its clever design keeps your games protected, organized, and easy to set up, making every game night smoother and way more fun.

The RangerPack campaign ends on 05/18/25 and they have already surpassed their funding goal of $6,702. You can pre-order a RangerPack starting at $147. After the RangerPack campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in September 2025. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.
