JSAUX SlipGo Monitor 2

CROWDFUNDING REVIEW – I am not sure if I mentioned this in previous reviews, but I am in the process of an equipment upgrade and somewhat of a redesign of my home studio/office to create a more capable and efficient workspace. For a gadget nerd like me, this means upgrading my gear and when possible adding some of the latest tech to fill my gadget craving. I think this JSAUX FlipGo Dual Stacked Portable Monitor will be to me what eating Krispy Creme donuts are to a sugar junkie. Let’s see!

What is it?

The JSAUX FlipGo Dual Stacked Portable Monitor is a portable monitor with an ultra-thin body and a single-cable connection to light up two screens for One to Duo or UltraView mode. If using a laptop, it will be charged when the FlipGo is connected to an external power supply.  Features also include a DisplayPort MST (USB-C1) and DisplayLink (USB-C2) that allow connection to a Windows laptop or an M1, M2, or M3 MacBook with a single cable.

The JSAUX FlipGo Dual Stacked Portable Monitor is a slim, lightweight double monitor that is hinged in the middle. It is made of plastic but does not feel so delicate that it would break easily. There are ports and controls on each side of the lower half of lower monitor. Magnets are built into the back for magnetic mounting/attachment.

Here is a video that provides an overview of the monitor:

Setup

The only thing involved with setting up the JSAUX FlipGo Dual Stacked Portable Monitor is to decide which case or mounting option you want to use. There are magnets built into the back of the monitor that allow it to attach to the cases or stands/mounts.

The following photos are a glimpse at the case/mount options that I have which include the Snap Stand and Flex Folio cases that were included and the VESA arm that I purchased:

Performance

JSAUX FlipGo Dual Stacked Portable Monitor is a great device that is the perfect display gear for use in the office/studio and on the go. The one cable connection and magnetic back make installing and removing it a breeze. The included cases and a stand give you the option of using it in just about any scenario. The display and resolution are great and it is plug and play at least for Windows OS users like me. The Duo and Ultraview modes are another great feature since I see the need for both depending on my use case. The entire package is lightweight, thin, and very versatile. I mainly use it as a part of my video recordings including my Podcast and other streaming when I want to share information from a website or other media from the mini PC that I have it connected to. I used a VESA mounting arm connected to my overhead pole mounts and added the magnetic plate they included to the VESA mount. The monitor remains securely attached but can simply be pulled off of the magnetic mount and be taken on the go.

A great feature of the JSAUX FlipGo Dual Stacked Portable Monitor is the dual modes. On this model, I can switch between Dual Mode and UltraView mode.

      • The ability to convert from in-studio to on-the-go
      • The quality of the resolution
      • The ability to use multiple stands/mounting options
      • The Duo and UltraView display modes

What I’d change

      • Nothing yet

Final thoughts
