CROWDFUNDING NEWS – Most people don’t think of adding a ruler to their EDC gear setup, but they might change their mind when they check out the Triceratops 2-in-1 ruler pen, which is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter.
What is it?
The Triceratops 2-in-1 ruler pen is a triangular-shaped ruler made of titanium that holds a “forever” pen.
Why do I like it?
I like the Triceratops 2-in-1 ruler pen because it features a dual scale. On one side are metric/centimeter measurements from 0 cm to 10 cm, and on the opposite side, there are imperial/inches from 0 inches to 3.93 inches. The shape is also easy to pick up compared to a traditional flat ruler. The campaign page calls the Triceratops 2-in-1 ruler pen a multi-tool for precision. It’s called a multi-tool because there’s a smudge-proof graphite pen that is stored in a slot in one of the three sides. Watch the video below for a better idea to see how it works.
