REVIEW – Sometimes it’s fun to kick it old school by listening to FM radio. I do this whenever I’m in my car, but when I’m home I can use a device like the MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal Bluetooth speaker which has a built-in FM radio. Let’s tune in to a local station and take a look!
What is it?
The MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal is a Bluetooth speaker with a built-in FM radio. The Muzen OTR Sticker is a Bluetooth speaker with a magnet on the back so you can stick it on your fridge or file cabinet.
What’s in the MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal Bluetooth Speaker box?
The MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal Bluetooth speaker comes packed in a super cute suitcase.
Enclosed inside the case you’ll find the speaker and some fun stickers.

Design and features of the MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal Bluetooth Speaker
First of all, it’s cute as a button! It has a shiny enameled surface that makes it bright and fun. On the face of the speaker, there are large speaker grill slots and a large FM tuner dial.
The dial even lights up! Below the dial are two small knobs that let you adjust the volume and set the mode: Off, Bluetooth, AUX, or FM. There’s also a status LED on the front bottom edge.
The back of the MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal speaker is another speaker grill and a multi-function USB-C port.
You can plug the included FM antenna into this port.
The antenna’s angle and length can be easily adjusted.
The USB-C port is also used with/for charging and the included AUX cable.
Performance
The MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal speaker has surprisingly good sound for such a small speaker (check out the video below to hear it in action).
The FM radio feature is a nice addition but I did notice that the FM stations on the tuning dial don’t always match up with the actual station that’s tuned in. For example, the station at 101.5 in real life, might tune in on the dial at 105.
Design and features of the MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal Sticker Speaker
The MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal Sticker Speakers look just like the Bluetooth/FM speakers above, only flatter.
It’s like MUZEN AUDIO sliced the front off the larger speaker to make the Sticker speaker. But, the large dial on the front is the combo power button and volume adjustment knob this time, and the smaller knobs below the dial are just for decoration and have no function.
On the side of the MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal Sticker Speaker, is a USB-C charging port and a small charging status LED.
On the back of the speaker is a large magnet flanked by two soft pads.
Here we can see the red version of the MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal Sticker Speaker on my steel bulletin board among the other magnets in my collection. Can you see it?
Here’s a closer look.
Performance
The MUZEN AUDIO OTR Sticker speaker has very simple functionality. It’s a Bluetooth speaker and that’s it. The sound is good as long as you don’t crank it to the max. When you do that, it starts distorting. You can see (hear) what I mean if you watch the video below.

What I like
- Cute retro design
- Well made
What I’d change
- FM tuner dial settings do not always match the actual FM station
- OTR Metal Bluetooth speaker is very expensive
Final thoughts
The MUZEN AUDIO OTR Metal Bluetooth and OTR Sticker speakers are very well made, super cute, and anyone who likes retro-styled products will want them. As far as sound, the larger OTR Metal Bluetooth/FM radio speaker is the better choice. However, the price for that one is on the high side in my opinion.
Price: $104.20 (OTR Metal), $26.99 (OTR Sticker)
