REVIEW – If you have read my previous e-bike reviews, you already know that I have been putting a lot of effort into new and sustainable health initiatives as I plan my journey toward retirement. One of the initiatives is to incorporate regular bike riding into my weekly exercise routine (once it gets warm of course). Just about a mile from my home, there is a 400-acre Nature Preserve that includes both paved and trail bike paths. It is great to explore and the trail bike paths allow you to access great scenery. While I could struggle through those paths with a regular bike with regular tires, I would much prefer to do so with either the VTUVIA SN100 26 Inch Hunting Fat Tire E-Bike or the VTUVIA SF20 Step-Thru Folding Fat Tire E-Bike.
What is it?
The VTUVIA SN100 26 Inch Hunting Fat Tire E-Bike features a quiet 750W motor, MOZO front suspension fork, a removable waterproof battery, and fat tires that make it easy to control the bike on loose terrains. It also features an ergonomic aluminum alloy frame and three riding modes, smart PAS, and hydraulic brakes
The VTUVIA SF20 Step-Thru Folding Fat Tire E-Bike is built on a strong aluminum alloy frame and is shaped to give you step-through ease of access and a comfortable riding position. Features include a welded rear rack and an easy-to-operate half-twist throttle. The fat tires provide extra balance and great suspension.

VTUVIA SF20
- Easy to ride, fold, and stow away: Riding the bike is easy thanks to the easy-to-operate half-twist throttle and fat tires that bring extra balance and suspension to the ride. The folding Step-Thru frame makes getting on and off the bike a breeze and when you don’t use it it’s easy to stow away.
- Made for all terrains: No terrain is too tough for the SF20, with a powerful 750W motor and front suspension fork you can tackle hills and terrain you’ve only dreamed of – and of course, it’s also perfect for cruising down the street!
- New Upgraded Version: SF20-H (SF20 Pro) has a beautiful rear rack, it’s a capable step-through folding electric bike with a frame welded rear rack. It also affords more structural integrity so that you can load up even more gear.
- Premium electric bike: SF20’s strong aluminum alloy frame is shaped to give you easy access and a comfortable riding position. The electric motor is combined with a high-capacity removable battery that gives the bike enough juice to last you for the whole day.
Both the VITUVIA SN100 26 and the SF20 are robust electric bikes with nice fat tires and LCDs for e-information. Here is more detailed information for each e-bike:

Performance
VTUVIA SN100
The first time I charged the batteries, I left them charging overnight. Once the indicator light on the AC adapter changes from red to green, the battery is fully charged.
I then powered on the display to make sure that the bike was ready to go.
VTUVIA SF20
For this bike, I decided to remove the battery and charge it separately. It can be charged either on or off the bike. Once fully charged, I powered on the display to check.
Now I was ready to ride. Here is a short video of some of the testing. It is quite cold in NY at the moment, so taking the bikes out into the Nature Preserve and testing on the trails is not an option.
What I like
- Both electric bikes are seriously solidly built
- They are both easy to ride
- Gear shifting and electronics work well
- The fat tires that are just about all-terrain are great
- Simply enjoyable to ride.
- The color display on the SN100 26
- The adjustable front fork
- The PAS selector that I can use to choose a specific level of e-assistance
What I’d change
- While the SF20 is foldable, it is too heavy to take full advantage of the portability
- IMHO the upright seating position on the SF20 is not the posture that I would want for tackling trails
- The seat on the SN100 may get uncomfortable for long rides
Final thoughts
Both the VITUVIA SN100 26 and the VITUVIA SF20 are well-made e-bikes and a whole lot of fun to ride. The frames are robust, the fat tires are great and the ride is a great experience. Neither of these bikes is light and so the folding feature of the SF20 is more for space-saving than the ability to carry it around by hand. Regardless, I give VITUVIA a very well done for both of these bikes.
