NEWS – We’ve reported about similar outdoor modular axe multi-tools before, but the Forrest Tool Company MAX Tool Kit caught my eye because it’s made in the USA and is standard equipment on Army Light Tactical Vehicles (according to their product page). The MAX Tool Kit features a 34” composite polyglass handle and a 3.5-lb Hudson Bay axe head that can be used as a hammer. Included in the carrying case is a shovel, pick, broad pick, Mattock Blade, Rake, Hoe, and a leather axe sheath. The Forrest Tool Company MAX Tool Kit is available in the red version that you see here, and a green Army version. Both are priced at $279 from forresttool.com and Amazon.
