REVIEW – If you create video content for yourself or maybe you have a YouTube channel like I do, there are 2 things other than video quality that you need to pay attention to in order to make your video as good as it can be. One thing is lighting and the other thing is your audio. Today I’m going to talk about the Haphiz 2-in-1 wireless lavalier microphone that will make your audio sound better.

What is it?

The Haphiz 2-in-1 wireless lavalier microphone is a set of 2 clip-on wireless microphones and a receiver that come with its own charging case.

What’s in the box?

Design and features

The Haphiz 2-in-1 wireless lavalier microphone comes packaged in a shiny black plastic storage case that doubles as a charger.

The cover flips open to reveal 2 microphones and the receiver. I love that I can keep all the parts stored and ready for use.

The bottom of the case has a USB-C port.

There is an LED display on the outside of the case that shows the battery capacity. Each microphone has an LED that glows red while charging and green when they are powered on and in use.

The microphones themselves are small with a small plastic clip that you can use to clip the microphone to your collar or the neck of your shirt. On one side of the Haphiz mic is a power button.

The other side has a USB-C port that you can use to individually charge the microphone if you don’t want to charge it in the included case.

There’s also the receiver that has a lightning connector that plugs into the iPhone or iPad. The receiver doesn’t have any buttons, but it does have status LEDs on one end and a lightning port on the other end for pass-through charging.

Setting up the Haphiz 2-in-1 wireless lavalier microphone is simple. There’s no Bluetooth settings, apps, etc. All you have to do is charge the microphones, then take out the receiver, plug it into your iPhone, take out one or more of the microphones, turn it on by pressing the button on the side of the microphone and that’s it. The microphone will automatically connect to the receiver and you’re ready to go. I made a quick video comparing audio recorded with the iPhone and the Haphiz 2-in-1 wireless lavalier microphone. Check it out below.

Hear it in action

The only thing I noticed is that when I was talking while looking down at the microphone clipped to my sweater, that the audio sounded even better, so I think clipping it even higher on my shirt would result in even better sound.

What I like

  • 2 Microphones
  • Pass-through charging through the receiver
  • Good sound quality
  • Charging case

What I’d change

  • Nothing

Final thoughts

Not long after I started the Gadgeteer video podcast on my YouTube channel, I thought I needed better audio than the iPhone’s built-in microphone, so I ordered a wireless lavalier microphone on Amazon which I’ve been using for my newer podcast episodes. That microphone is ok, but it only came with one microphone and did not come with a storage case that can also keep the microphone charged like the Haphiz 2-in-1 wireless lavalier microphone. I’ve happily switched to this set.

Note: This exact item is not available on Amazon as it’s been sold out. But I’ve found a different Amazon listing for what looks like the same exact item, just under a different name. I’ve included the link below.

Price: $49.99

    1. I have youtobe chanle, I need this wireless I want to know
How long take a charge and how many hours can record
      Thank

      1. It takes about 2 hours to fully charge the transmitters and receiver using the charging case.
It takes about 4 hours to fully charge the charging case. As for how many hours of recording per charge, I don’t know because they seem to last a very long time and when you’re done recording, you put them back in the case where they automatically top off the charge.
