There is a grill around most of the large surface of the speaker, with the branding on the front and the control and jacks on the back. There are 2 speakers under the grill and a speaker on each side.
Performance
The first task out of the box is to charge the speaker. When charging the LED is red, and when fully charged and turned on the LED is blue. This speaker pairs like any other Bluetooth speaker by simply holding down the Bluetooth button to put it in pairing mode.
Quick waterproof test:
The speaker sounds really nice for its size with enough volume, separation of frequencies, and good bass. I was not able to test the broadcast mode because I only have one. It is well built and the waterproofing works well. With a single tap, it works with Siri, Google, and Cortina.

Final thoughts
There are tons of Bluetooth speakers on the market, but not all are created equal. This Tronsmart Force 2 Bluetooth speaker sounds good, looks good, is acceptably waterproof, and holds the charge for a long time. IMHO, it is a good value for the cost.
